Nitzer Ebb are a British EBM group formed in 1982. EBM became a catch all term for the heavily synthesized, post-punk sounds that emerged from Belgium at the start of the 80s and eventually found their way around the world.
Arcades du Cinquantenaire is a monumental triple arch in the center of the Cinquantenaire park in Brussels, Belgium. It is topped by a bronze quadriga sculptural group with a woman charioteer, representing Brabant raising the national flag.
Perhaps the most famous quadriga is featured on Brandenburg Gate. Throughout its existence, the Brandenburg Gate was often a site for major historical events and is today considered a symbol of the tumultuous history of Europe and Germany, but also of European unity and peace.
